Hi, I have a Mazda6 4dr Sdn Auto i Grand Touring and I'm considering buying a carplay retrofit kit from amazon(TK78-66-9U0C). I wonder if it would also feed information to the heads-up display like the vanilla Mazda navigation does. Thanks!
It's not a card, it's a retrofit kit 00008FZ34, $148 on eBay (with a few thousand sold) or usually around $153 on Amazon (currently not offered) plus some time and effort on your part, if DIY. As opposed to 2-3 times that plus maybe less time and definitely less effort on your part, if installed by the dealer.

I have a 2017 Mazda 3 and got the retrofit. It is expensive, but I use it everyday and think itās totally worth it. Itās annoying that the touch screen canāt be used while the car is moving, but the main control knob and buttons used for the stock system work really well with Carplay IMO. It shouldnāt take long for you to get used to it.
