Hi All Have just brought a Grande Punto 1.4 16V Sporting - lovely looking car but doesn't seem to have much power. Seems quite nippy in town, but when on the motorway, doesn't seem to want to go over 60 mph !! Any ideas !!

Hi again all, Fiat Grande Punto Sporting 1.4 16v 2007 I am not too experienced in reading the ePer and how up todate the version I have is. However, judging from what I could find the oil should be Selenia K, 5W-40 with a capacity of 2.9 litres and for coolant Paraflu Up (Cuna NC 596-16-ASTM D Fiat Punto Evo 3d Sport 1.4 16v MultiAir 105HP Start&Stop Size, Dimensions, Aerodynamics and Weight. Wheelbase : 98.82 inches / 251.0 cm. Length : 160.04 inches / 406.5 cm. Width : No youre right to be using the standard mounts. However i would be swapping them for new ones. How were you having trouble? It should be quite straiht forward bud. Ah right.. As the title says they got a group test with a grande punto sporting 1.9 mjtd, VW polo 1.9PD sport and skoda fabia vRS. 1st place went to the Fabia vRS 2nd to the punto 3rd for the VW polo The plus points of the punto were + Stylish looks + Price + Chassis balance + Roomy Cabin + Excellent
Looking to sell the old Mk1 Sporting and ive been interested in the Grande Sporting (Non turbo). Ive also noticed that there is an Active Sport aswell as the Sporting. How are the new Punto's to live with like common faults and how are the engines and whats the difference between the two sport
