HI, I bought a Silverline oil Extractor Pump to be able to change the oil without getting under the car. However my plan failed since I was only able to extract half the oil, even using a thinner pipe.
However, in the first paragraph of your link, it states "A DPF is now standard equipment for Ford's Duratorq 1.6-litre 109 PS TDCi engine, and optional on the 2.0-litre 136 PS variant. These systems rely on the use of a liquid additive to enable diesel particulates to oxidise at relatively low temperatures in the filter.

Hello, I have an early 2011 Focus 1.6 85 kw (115 hp) Titanium with 69 000 km (43 000 m) mileage. I still have a valid Ford warranty. I have bought it from Ford dealer with 62 000 km (38 500) on clock. The fuel consumption 39 mpg (7,2l/100 km) seems not right for me. All my journeys are in town where are too many traffic lights.
Ford Model: Focus 1.6 TDCI. Ford Year: 2011. UK/Ireland Location: Tyne & Wear. Posted January 6, 2016. Hi Guys, I was just wondering if any of you's had any idea where i could go. slight boost lag. p0299 intermittent, once every 100 mile or so. No burning oil. No hissing from pipes (checked intercooler and turbo) History. Previous to the turbo situation the car was offering the code for overboost. blew a turbo 1500 miles ago, got a recon fitted and dpf gutted. Recon snapped the exhaust bearing 600 mile into it's life.
Ive got a 1.6 tdci focus only 80k on it now but replaced all the horror bits & mapped off the dpf ect before it even started to go wrong. Just for peice of mind. Me & my friend do a lot of work on fiestas with the same engine but 90hp. weve just recently done injector seals on one that had 170k exactly , going strong as ever !
1.6 TDCi 115 Turbo Lag in 1st gear. I took delivery of my new Focus Estate on Thursday and have since found the apparent turbo lag in 1st gear verging on dangerous. When moving away you give the car a little power, bring the clutch up (fine so far), then press the accelerator a little harder to accelerate smoothly, except when I press the pedal

Posted March 23, 2018. just noticed today climbing a slight hill that when in 3rd and 4th and accelerating slowly, the engine seems to stutter between 1800 and 2200 revs. It’ll climb up to 1800 normally, slow between 1800 and 2200 and then drop
